SpeechLess – a one-woman dance show that tells a story which is at once personal and universal.
It’s about family and growing up. Using tap, mime and physical theatre, Imani Jendai charts her journey from child to woman during 60s, 70s and 80s England, while trying to communicate and navigate between two parallel cultural worlds. It’s about joy and pain, turmoil and triumph …and holding onto values while trusting that faith will pull you through.
