The Sisters of Transistors

The Sisters Of Transistors is the latest project of Graham Massey, one of the founding fathers of Techno as we know it today. His latest adventure however is poles apart from 808 State. Here, he joins forces with four organists for a baroque horror disco extravaganza, complete with harmonised singing matching outfits.

The Real Dolls

The concept of The Real Dolls came from rapper, Rod Hotly. Hotly joined forces with Manc Japanese rapper Yoshi, production-savvy Real Dave and world-class scratch DJ, Peter Parker (Fingathing) to form The Real Dolls .

Falling in step with the likes of N.A.S.A, Santigold & M.I.A, they are a party band, they like to make you move with their bold, fresh mix of hip-hop, electro, punk and the J-pop sound of ParaPara to make PRONK! _or sex punk_their own brand of music.

Their dynamite combination of cred and killer hooks is already causing a buzz in underground circles and it wont be long before The Real Dollstake over the planet.

Live they are in their element with shows constantly changing and energy levels always pushed to 11. Entertainment is high on the agenda as this 4 piece join forces with Veba (Groove Armada, Rae & Christian) and Zoe McVeigh (Hooker) to make effortlessly cool music!

(hooker) are a gloriously brash Manchester-based femme-punk outfit. Creating sounds that oscillate between delicate and bruised, and fiercely raw and dynamic, (hooker) are emotive, dirty, beautiful. – ‘It’s a complete mystery why they are not absolutely massive.’ (Manchester Music)

(hooker) are one of Manchester’s most engaging and powerful live acts, touring regularly in the UK, supporting bands such as The Slits, The Gossip, Interpol, Le Tigre, 50ft Wave, Uh Huh Her, Katastrophy Wife, Brassy, Television and The Donnas, as well as playing a string of gigs and festivals in Europe, including shows in Amsterdam, Berlin, Bordeaux, Cologne, Leiden, Madrid, Toulouse and Paris.
