All The Devils by Jonathan Larkin

“It’s Brandon Bolt! I just said yes to whatever he wanted. Just to be here. Be in his little circle. When someone like him lets you in… you do anything he says. No limits.”

All The Devils is a new theatre production by playwright Jonathan Larkin (Cherry Jezebel, ★★★★ The Guardian, ★★★★ The Stage).

You are invited to a party like you’ve never been to before.

Step into a world of desire, dark thrills, and deadly games. How far would you go to experience the next big high?

All The Devils is an LGBTQIA operatic stage thriller about wanting to connect and the extremes people will go to in order to achieve it. Brandon Bolt has made a fortune filming exclusive parties for his devoted online followers, curating nights of increasingly dangerous games. But when a guest arrives determined to up the stakes, the performance slips and the night spins out of control.

Taking its cue from Patrick Hamilton’s Rope, this dark comic play drags the thriller genre into the contemporary world of dating apps, online performance, and digital anxiety. A delirious journey through an all-night party with murder on the menu, All The Devils brings queer characters to centre stage and opens urgent conversations about desire, risk, intimacy, and self-destruction.

All The Devils asks how far into darkness we are willing to go, just to feel something.

Visually, the production draws on the heightened aesthetics of Giallo cinema: lurid colour, stark shadows, and combines sound and movement to create an operatic, dreamlike menace. A charged theatrical world where suspense is physically felt.

The production is supported by Liverpool Everyman & Playhouse, HOME, and Homotopia (the UK’s leading LGBTQIA arts festival) and produced by Switchflicker and AFP.

We are presenting a work-in-progress sharing on Fri 7 Nov, 7.45pm,
Playhouse Studio, Liverpool. Book your free ticket.

Presented as part of Homotopia Festival 2025.

Cameron McKendrick is Brandon Bolt, your host for this evening who has built a large cult online following by filming his exclusive parties while controlling and manipulating his guests.

Lyud Hristov is DYLAN, Brandon’s doe-eyed partner. a people-pleaser who will do whatever it takes to be loved and stay loved. “I’m the only one who’ll ever go this far. Go this deep.  Tonight I’ll go deeper, I promise”. They are the perfect kink couple.

Luke Soedkoo is ANTON, 30,  the cute go-go boy who still feels like the overweight nerd at school. He’s desperate for affirmation but feels completely undeserving of love.

Anthony Crank is ROB, gym-fit alpha, over-achiever, bullish; unscrupulous, entitled, arrogant and has contempt for everyone who isn’t him.

Jake Hagan is ZAK, the youngest guest and a blank canvas who people project their fantasies on to.

Tom Lloyd is The Chanteuse, The Embodiment of Truth – if you hear her it’s a warning. If you listen you’ll be saved from yourself. Nobody listens.
