Bee and Cue , a live performance piece with Mildmanjan involving construction work , unique artefacts and live music. Builder Bee transforms or recycles a household object into a box - conveniently sized to house a CD.
Musician Cue takes the sounds of this constucting and transforms or recycles them into music and simultaneously produces a CD . At the end of the two simultaneous performances , a unique CD is sold or auctioned in a unique box ; the box bearing witness to it's own making and the CD bringing to life the formative moments of transformation and the miracle of recycling.
Mobile Symphony: Ten Nokia mobiles play a specially composed score conducted by the artist's text finger. Part of Futuresonic electronic music festival.

12/01/00The first single from Manchester label Switchflicker, sees a collaboration between the spoken word of Mark E Smith and electronic producer mildmanjan. The results are beautifully crafted on a limited pink 7" vinyl. the flip side features my mate mark with vocals from Tracey Elizabeth and Veba, the Manchester's very own Ike and Tina. The single is nicely finished with individually printed sleeves. Very limited and now all gone.
